Tell us what you'd like us to test next
Health Choice UK is an independent, reader-funded consumer-health watchdog — we review categories of supplements, self-monitoring devices and home-care tools so you can choose with confidence. Suggest a guide, flag a correction, or reach us for press. We never sell anything and we never take a cut.

Pick a topic so your message reaches the right person. We read everything, but please note we can't give personal medical advice — for that, speak to your GP, NHS 111 or a community pharmacist. For anything else, we'd love to hear from you.
[email protected]Health Choice UK is an educational resource. We explain how to choose between types of product and what to look for — we don't diagnose, prescribe, or sell. If you have symptoms or a personal health question, the right people to ask are your GP, a pharmacist, or NHS 111 (call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk). In an emergency, always call 999. For medicines and device safety concerns, the MHRA's Yellow Card scheme (yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk) is the official UK route to report a problem.
What happens after you write to us
We're a small independent team, so here's an honest picture of how we handle your message.
We acknowledge it
You'll get a reply within five working days confirming we've received your message and which of us is looking at it.
Corrections go to the top of the queue
If you've spotted an error, we check it against our sources straightaway. Verified corrections are fixed promptly and logged transparently — accuracy beats ego, every time.
Guide suggestions feed our planning
We can't test everything at once, so we prioritise by reader demand and public-health relevance. Popular requests shape what we publish next.
Press gets a fast lane
Journalists on deadline should flag the date in the subject line — we'll do our best to turn things round quickly with a named spokesperson.
Before you write — a few quick answers
Can you tell me which monitor or supplement to buy?
We can point you to the right category guide — say, our look at blood pressure monitors or choosing vitamins and minerals — and explain what separates a good option from a poor one (validation to standards like ISO 15197 and BIHS, correct cuff fit, clear labelling). What we won't do is name a single 'best buy' brand or make a personal recommendation, because the right choice depends on your circumstances. For that, a pharmacist or GP is your best bet.
I think one of your guides is wrong. What should I do?
Please tell us — choose 'A correction' on the form and quote the page and the specific line. Include a source if you can. We check every correction against NHS, NICE, MHRA, SACN and other reputable references, and we fix verified errors quickly. Holding ourselves to the standard we ask of products is the whole point.
Do you take money from manufacturers or run ads for products?
No. We don't take payment, samples-for-coverage, affiliate commissions or sponsorship from the makers of anything we review, and we don't recommend named commercial products. Our independence is the only thing that makes our verdicts worth reading. You can read more on our about and editorial standards pages.
Can I reuse or quote your guides?
Short quotes with a clear link back to the page are welcome. For anything more substantial — syndication, teaching materials, press use — choose 'Press & media' and we'll sort out permissions.
This is a personal medical question — can you help?
We're not able to give personal medical advice, and it wouldn't be safe for us to try. Please contact your GP, a community pharmacist, or NHS 111 (online at 111.nhs.uk or by phone on 111). For urgent or emergency situations, call 999.
Get a faster, better reply
A little detail helps us help you. If you can, include:
The page or topic
Tell us which guide you mean — for example our monitoring hub or a specific page like pulse oximeters.
Your source, if you have one
For corrections, an NHS, NICE, MHRA or peer-reviewed reference lets us verify and act in one pass.
Whether it's personal or general
If it's about your own health, we'll gently signpost you to a GP or pharmacist — but say so up front and we'll point you the right way faster.
A deadline, for press
Note the date you need a response by, and we'll prioritise accordingly.
