Where our information comes from
Every guide is built from sources you could check yourself. We prioritise NHS and NICE clinical guidance, MHRA device safety information, peer-reviewed research, and the statutory rules behind UK funding routes such as Disabled Facilities Grants. Where guidance is genuinely uncertain or contested, we say so plainly rather than dressing up an opinion as settled fact.
We write in jargon-free language because being understood is part of being trustworthy. If a term is unavoidable, we explain it. We never quote a price, a review, a provider or a phone number we can't stand behind — and we never invent one to make a page look fuller.

How do I report something that looks wrong or out of date?

Do manufacturers get to review your articles before publication?
